The dominant ninth chord is a five note chord. It starts with the major triad and adds the flatted seventh and the ninth (second) notes as well. The dominant 9th chord differs from the add9 chord in that it contains the flatted seventh where the add9 (add2) chord does not. All ninth chords are assumed to contain the seventh.
The dominant eleventh chord is also a five note chord. It starts with the major triad and adds the dominant (flatted) seventh and the eleventh (fourth) notes as well. The dominant 11th chord differs from the sus4 chord in that it contains the flatted seventh and the major third where the sus4 chord contains neither. All eleventh chords are also assumed to contain the seventh.
The dominant thirteenth chord is a five note chord as well. This chord starts with the major triad and adds the dominant (flatted) seventh and the thirteenth (sixth). The dominant 13th chord differs from the major 6th chord in that it contains the dominant (flatted) seventh while the major 6th chord does not. All thirteenth chords are assumed to contain the seventh as well.
